Welcome to my first review on one of my favourite designers MODERN HERITAGE. A Label Inspired by the African Print.  The Founders of Modern Heritage Privilege and Maureen are super inspiring and their work speaks to you in talent and culture. You can  follow them on Facebook through this link

"We are a label inspired by different 'heritages'  and looking forward to expand into other continents. We turn fashion entrenched in culture and tradition to make it  the way  forward in the fashion industry" -Privilege CEO & Co-Founder of Modern Heritage
"Keep Striving never give up on your dreams"- Maureen  CEO & Co-Founder of Modern Heritage

What Inspires me about Modern Heritage is that it started from Scratch two young people collaborating to make unique and amazing designs.  A lot of people might say well there is so many African prints nowadays what makes there designs unique. Well I will not say much I will let the pictures speak to you.

Before I go the main reason for this post. Please check these beautiful designs

And the big finish they designed the beautiful dress for carol who was competing at the  MISS AFRICA GB 2016.

As we have looked at some of the beautiful designs they have been doing. I had the honour of modelling the Choker for Modern Heritage with my beautiful Sis Carol.

I was not a very big fan of chokers, but after wearing this lovely African Print Chokers loving myself like well hello there peace lol. I must say these chokers look stunning.

Let me know which one of these prints are your favourite and would you wear one?

My sister Carol  has made it to the finalist on Miss Africa Great Britain pageant and I am so proud of her.

"The Miss Africa GB pageant (Formerly Black Africa UK pageant) was founded in 2011. The pageant was formed with the sole purpose of giving young African girls born or living in the United Kingdom a platform to showcase not only their beauty but most importantly their culture, talent and creativity. The pageant is highly competitive and seeks to bring out those leadership qualities in women. The winner becomes a goodwill ambassador for Miss Africa GB, charged with designing and implementing a charity program based on her Pageant Platform."

She's literally turned her life around and worked so hard to be where she is. Of course nothing would have been possible without God.
Ensure you vote for her, so she can get a chance to make a real difference in her home country Kenya. She truly deserves this chance to share her story and inspire others to reach their goals learn from her mistakes and aspire to be the best.

The link contains a form for you to fill in for a chance to win a trip for two in your chosen city so make sure you fill it in. On the second page you will see her picture with stars on it.  Click on the stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and that's how you vote. Make sure to submit your form and vote.

Thank you for your support and come back here will keep you update ❣😘

Graduation day!!!  who started throw back Thursday ?? Genuine question made me really think I have not found the answer yet.

The one day I looked forward to  for 4 long years.

You do not fully understand or comprehend the Joy of graduation until it's your day. After all the sleepless nights, studying from morning until night. Looking for empty rooms to revise and buying expensive coffee.

Congratulations to all the 2016 graduates pre school, high school college and university. A chapter in your life closed.

After graduating I realised the biggest lessons you learn are outside the lectures, discipline to turn up to your lectures without your parents harassing you, okay maybe them saying you better get a first class the day they dropped you off made you get up and actually turn up to your classes. Whichever the case you still went I Hope!!.

Learning to tell yourself you actually have to go home to your house in that one late party that everyone stays until morning. You start thinking your the only one with 9am Lectures because others never seem to want to go home. The next lesson you learn are the friends you make for life, God filters friends and your left with the best who bring you that first class. For me I am grateful to each and every lesson I learnt in university, some tough times but only made me stronger

Back to fashionnnnn.

I wore a bright pink dress ( Lipsy) and some big black heels!! ( Lipsy) for some reason I can not find the full picture of me without the gown hehehehe!! Will update the blog once I find it.

I would advice wear heels that you are very confortable wearing especially  if your graduation hall involves you walking up the stairs. I was soo nervous about those stairs, I held my breathe all the way until I got to the top. Make sure you dress your best, this is your day. Pick a dress you can flaunt with.  Simple jewellery is the best do not wear bangles that will make noise while your walking and their trying to call people's names heheheehe. Make sure your hair will accommodate the graduation hat and make sure you take some hair pins, you will need them trust me!.

Lastly enjoy your day make sure of it you deserve regardless of the grade! Remember its what you do after graduation not what is written on your certificate  :)

Need help need inspiration below is an outfit to inspire you and get you excited.   If you have graduated what did you wear for graduation??  How was your graduation??
